Chris Neale

Associate Pastor

During postgraduate study in entomology at the University of Queensland Chris discovered a passion for serving international students. The next 19 years were spent working in insect pest control in orchards with the Queensland government; during which she undertook further study at Bible college and in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. A growing desire to work with people (bugs aren’t big on conversation) saw Chris leave the world of insects in 2008 to pursue her passions for teaching English and later, pastoral ministry at Taringa Baptist. Chris is married to Don. She enjoys café cycling, taking photos, table tennis and trying new foods.
